Business Developer Retail Design – H/F

We are looking for a Business Developer to join a retail design business unit and collaborate with the Creative Director in the growth of their business.

As the Business Developer, you will be the driving force behind identifying and securing new business opportunities for the agency. You will lead the charge in building and nurturing client relationships, from the first point of contact to agency presentations and project kick-offs. Your role is critical in expanding the agency’s portfolio, ensuring that we are consistently working on innovative and impactful projects that align with our creative vision.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    Build a new client portfolio:

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on business growth and customer satisfaction
    • Define and identify targets of prospects/potential customers
    • Build connections, establish rapport and organize meetings with clients
    • Manage and coordinate follow-ups and team appointments
    • Develop and maintain client relationships
    • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
    • Conduct ongoing market research

     

    Represent the company:

    • Act as an ambassador and represent the agency in all prospective settings
    • Participate in sector-related events and public relations
    • Lead agency presentations to present case studies and the expertise of the team

     

    Achieve sales targets:

    • Track, identify and add qualified prospects to pipeline
    • Negotiate contracts terms in terms of costs, quality and deadlines
    • Write quotes and proposals

     

    Reporting:

    • Regularly report your progress to the Creative Director and commercial team (monitoring, briefing and debriefing of ongoing projects…)
  • Qualities & characteristics

    • Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field
    • 5+ years in a similar role
    • Experience in architecture, interior design or a creative field an asset
    • Demonstrated ability in business-to-business (B2B) sales
    • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills to promote our agency and business
    • Skilled negotiator, go getter and tanicous mindset
    • Fluent in English, another language an asset
