Senior UX/UI Designer – H/F

We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our products, ensuring user-centric design and seamless interaction across various platforms.

As a UX/UI Designer at Malherbe, you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a proven track record of creating impactful designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce principles and the ability to translate complex concepts into elegant and practical design solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, developers, and other creatives to understand project goals and user requirements.
    • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for desktop and mobile applications that align with project objectives and user needs.
    • Conduct user research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experiences.
    • Design and optimize user flows, ensuring a seamless and intuitive navigation process.
    • Develop and maintain design guidelines, pattern libraries, and UI components to ensure design consistency and efficiency.
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality designs.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continually enhance your skill set and contribute innovative ideas.

  • Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • 2-3 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and projects.
    • Experience working in a design agency environment is preferred.
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
    • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
    • Previous experience designing for e-commerce platforms is a must.
    • Ability to design for both desktop and mobile platforms, with a keen eye for responsive design.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey design concepts and ideas.
